I’ve got a brand new CD out – Warm for the Winter.
You can read all about it here, and you can check out samples of the tunes or order the CD on Amazon, iTunes, and CD-Baby.
Or you can learn more about it in this brand new Skope interview!
With a whole new collection of great, original songs dedicated to winter fun, it’s a perfect gift for the holidays.
I’ve also got a bunch of new tour dates coming up to showcase my new album, and a new YouTube channel, too!
And hey, I’ve got this new website too… so you’ll be hearing more from me soon!
P.S. We’re still blowing dust out of the vacuum tubes and calibrating the punchcards on the Jeff-o-Matic supercomputer serving up the site. So while we’re still loading up all the data from the magnetic reels, you might find that some pages look weird or are missing.
But you’ll find all my CDs listed here, a bunch of new videos, and links to various sites to sample or download individual songs, or to order the actual CDs and DVDs. There will be more and more stuff added over the coming month, so keep checking back…
Big Jeff & Friends on DVD
Watch Big Jeff's live concert video DVD, with Wild Bill and the mysterious Jazzman!
Finally, a great kid-friendly Halloween cd that the whole family can enjoy. We love playing it over and over (and over!) because each time we listen we hear something new. Thanks, Jeff!
A big man in a brown hat singing songs of frozen peas and fire engines... a group of lively youngsters singing and dancing along… a series of animated crayon drawings bouncing and flying across the screen… an overzealous guitar player who keeps barging in… and a journey to a mystical mountaintop to seek the advice of the wisest saxophonist in the land.
It all starts off as a typical Big Jeff children’s concert, full of clever tunes and interactive fun. But before long, the joyful acoustic music is shattered by the frenzied electric guitar-playing of a rock-n-roller named Wild Bill. He’s turned away as politely as possible, but he keeps coming back.
Other friends join in to help Big Jeff play his original songs about helicopters, butterflies, cats and kazoos. Friends like Aaron, a singer with a great gift for harmony and a whiz on flute, harmonica, hand percussion and slide whistle. And Mark Rufino, a.k.a. the World’s Happiest Bass Player, a long-time member of Big Jeff’s Middle-Sized Band. Still, it seems like every time Big Jeff and Friends really get things going, Wild Bill bursts in on the scene…
The only hope of getting the music back on track lies with a mysterious guru known only as the Jazzman. High atop Jazz Mountain, the way-out Jazzman holds court with his band, decked out in his suit, sunglasses and fez, speaking the language of Bop through his saxophone.
Will the Jazzman be able to help solve the problem with Wild Bill? Will Big Jeff be able to understand anything the Jazzman is saying? Will Mark be able to stand on top of his huge bass without falling over? The answers to all these questions and more are here, on the Big Jeff and Friends DVD!
